Solution -
Syn-Aps designed and built the above system which automatically removes components from a strip of 12 at the
input stage. Precision cleaning is then performed on both sides using pick and place. The pick and place deposits
the cleaned item on a vision nest. Automatic vision analysis is then performed and depending on the result, the part
is either transferred to an output nest or sent to a reject storage station sorted by type of failure. This system
ultimately ran at 1 part out every 3.5 seconds.
